This 710 hp sports car from McLaren made a name for itself in two different racing series. Former Formula 1 driver Christian Klien participated in the DTM as part of his part-time program with the McLaren 720S GT3. At the Circuit Zolder in Belgium, the Nürburgring, and the Dutch Circuit Assen, the Austrian driver took the wheel of the car with the number 15 for the JP Motorsport team and achieved a strong fifth place in the first scoring race in Holland. However, as a guest starter, neither the driver nor the team earned points. In addition to its appearances in the DTM, the vehicle also lined up in the GT Open racing series.
