Product details
The Ju 87 dive bomber is one of the most famous aeroplanes of the Second World War. A characteristic feature of this aircraft were the wings in the "W" configuration, which perfectly reflects our block model. The aircraft first flew in 1935, but experienced its baptism of fire in 1938 during the Spanish Civil War. In German propaganda, the Junkers became a symbol of the Luftwaffe's power. The aircraft was used successfully in the battles in Poland, Scandinavia, France, Crete and during Operation Barbarossa. The B-2 version of the JU 87 was intended for missions in Africa, among other things. The 1:32 scale block model consists of 525 elements and is characterised by beautiful tropical camouflage and prints.
The aircraft has a movable propeller and ailerons as well as rotating wheels with rubber tyres. The cockpit can be opened to place the carefully crafted pilot and gunner/radio operator figures at the controls. When assembled, the aeroplane is 34.5 cm long. The set also includes a special stand with transparent pen, which you can use to present the aeroplane "in flight". The whole thing is complemented by a sign with the name of the aircraft. The JU 87 B-2 in tropical camouflage is a perfect addition to the Second World War aircraft collection. The set will not only delight young history buffs, but above all adult collectors and fans of military technology. Build history, brick by brick..
