The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle is a twin-engine fighter aircraft (air superiority fighter) with a twin-tail design used by the US Air Force. It has been produced in various versions since 1974 and was first deployed in the Gulf War. In 1988, the F-15E Strike Eagle, a fighter-bomber variant, was also introduced.
