The Marder III tank destroyer fought on many fronts during the Second World War. Until the introduction of the 88 mm cannon, it was a very dangerous anti-tank weapon. The design of the Sd.Kfz. 139 was based on the chassis of the Panzer 38(t). The main armament was a modified Soviet gun, adapted to German 7.62 cm PaK 36(r) shells. Marder III in the set with the included German 5 cm Pak 38 basic cannon was developed to match the 1/35th scale figures and consists of 486 clamp building blocks. There are no stickers, only high-quality, durable prints. The model's functions include: working chain traction, rotating wheels, space for a figure in the fighting compartment and a movable cannon. The set also includes a street sign inspired by historical photos with the name of the town of El Alamein, where two important battles of the African campaign took place.
