The British tank Mark V (male version) was produced in 1918 at the end of World War I. The tank was equipped with two 57-mm guns and five machine guns, operated by an eight-member crew. The Mark V moved at a speed of 7.4 km/h and could cover a distance of 65 km on the road. This type of tank participated in the battles of Gomel, Amiens, and the Hindenburg Line on the Western Front.

A museum piece from the Tank Museum in Bovington is still operational. It was this specimen, with a documented combat history, that served as the prototype for the COBI model made of building blocks.

The carefully reproduced model of the Mark V (Male) tank consists of 844 COBI bricks and is 23 cm long. Thanks to the use of a model scale of 1:35, the model is compatible with COBI figures and other vehicles of this size. The tank features a functioning track drive, rotating guns, and opening hatches.
