Colouring is fun - colouring books are therefore very popular, especially in institutions for the elderly. But carers are always faced with the great challenge of finding suitable colouring templates for their senior citizens: thematically interesting motifs that also take into account motor and cognitive limitations. These colouring books offer more: suitable motifs in different levels of difficulty with matching activation suggestions! Individually tailored to the needs, templates can be selected and used in both individual and group settings. This gives carers the opportunity to integrate a suitable short activation during the colouring process, thus creating space for in-depth discussions and accompanying biographical work. The author Monika Twachtmann has successfully used all templates in her own institution.
