The Lost Ruins of Arnak: Expedition Leadership leads the expedition team under the guidance of one of six unique leaders, each with special abilities, skills, and starting decks back to the island of Arnak.

The expansion to the adventure game The Lost Ruins of Arnak, which was nominated by the jury for "Game of the Year 2021," includes new abilities for the unique leaders, introducing a new element of asymmetry. Additionally, the expansion features alternative research paths that offer both variety and greater challenges. New item and artifact cards allow for novel combinations and synergies.
