Vocabulary learning reinvented. The Dings: Learning German through play continues the successful series, Das Dings. Countless players of the series can confirm: Fun and learning success are guaranteed. Players learn how to describe things in German. Familiar terms from the basic vocabulary are repeated, practiced, and reinforced. Other, still unknown words can be discovered from the context and incorporated into the existing vocabulary. This leads to a playful expansion of the German vocabulary. Additionally, reading and pronouncing German words are practiced, and listening comprehension is encouraged. Only through clear pronunciation and good listening is it possible to guess a thing.

Here's how it works: The rules are quickly explained: One person reads the six hint sentences on each card one by one. The others guess which term might be hidden behind the clues—until the hidden thing is found. The solution is always printed as a word with a picture on the back of each card. The terms to be guessed are selected to be particularly important during the initial stages of engaging with the German language.
