But for everyone else, here’s a quick overview: Players take turns drawing cards until someone draws an Exploding Kitten. That player immediately explodes, dies, and is out of the game, unless they have a defuse card. With it, they can calm the kitten and prevent it from exploding, using items like a laser pointer, catnip, or belly rubs. All other cards serve only one purpose: to prevent you from drawing an Exploding Kitten.
