Sellmer Verlag has been around since 1945. As the first Advent calendar publisher after World War II, Sellmer entered the market. It was founded by the grandfather of Frank and Oliver Sellmer, the current owners. That’s why many old designs are still part of the collection today, making it a treasure trove for nostalgia lovers!

Even with new designs, we always ensure that the front image continues to live on when opening the doors. The back image complements the scene on the front. Every day, you can expect a nice surprise. The city motifs showcase landmarks of the respective region along with Christmas ornaments.

All our Advent calendars and Christmas cards are made in Germany. We are a small family business with about 10 employees.
