Apiary is a strategic board game set in a fascinating world where humanity has vanished, and a highly developed bee species, the Mellifera, now inhabits the Earth. These intelligent bees have created a complex society and are striving for scientific advancement, including space exploration. Players take control of one of 20 different factions, each starting the game with a beehive, some resources, and worker bees. Throughout the game, players must make strategic decisions to strengthen their faction by placing workers on the board to perform various actions, such as exploring the galaxy, upgrading the beehive, and collecting resources. The challenge lies in managing the limited number of actions of the workers before they enter hibernation. The game ends when all sectors of the Hibernation Honeycomb are filled or when a player places their seventh Hibernation Token. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
