Alongside the new, atmospheric illustrations, there are twelve additional tiles featuring animals and the mini-expansion The River in a winter design, which captivates with its charming artwork. Carcassonne awaits players in a winter outfit, yet with a familiar gameplay experience – as even in winter, the followers continue their usual activities.

The Carcassonne Winter Edition is a standalone version. It is not recommended to combine it with other Carcassonne games.
