The time came when there were no real heroes left. Only toothless charlatans and short-winded brawlers without a diploma roamed the troubled land, extracting the hard-earned gold from the citizens with their fabricated tales of supposed heroism. When the king heard of this, he nearly lost the jewels from his Sunday crown in his fury. This embarrassing disheroization of the land could not be tolerated. So he decided to send out his loyal scouts to locate the most dangerous labyrinths of the realm. He then had every wannabe hero he could capture thrown into one of these ancient labyrinths. There, they were to prove themselves as true heroes or fertilize the slimy moss with their rotting corpses. It’s hard to believe, but you are those heroes. Congratulations! So fight or… fertilize!

Dungeon Fighter is a game that combines skill, adventure, and humor. Players take on the role of heroes (or something close to that idea) who explore a dark labyrinth as a group. They face the grotesque (and mostly insane) horrors and monsters that dwell there. Only with the necessary courage and the right finesse can the group, forged in the fire of despair, roll through to the legendary final boss and emerge victorious!

In 2015, Dungeon Fighter will be released in a slightly revised edition. In addition to the updated rules, the game components have also been adjusted to make the game more accessible and even more outrageous.
