They possess very good maneuverability even in bad weather, particularly in yaw movements, despite a tendency to take on spray from the leeward side. They are well-armed, durable, and their overall appearance shows only minor differences between the individual boats, mainly concerning armament or the antennas of the detection systems and according to the era.
