The JU-87 Stuka was the standard ground attack aircraft and dive bomber of the German Luftwaffe at the beginning of World War II. Despite its mediocre characteristics, it gained considerable fame due to its psychological impact on the population and enemy forces. Never before had such a massive deployment of aircraft been witnessed. The success of the Stukas in the early phase of the war was due to the total air superiority guaranteed by the Luftwaffe fighters, which allowed the Stukas to operate without being disturbed by enemy aircraft. During the Battle of Britain, the myth of the JU-87 was redefined due to the dominance of British fighter planes. Nevertheless, the Stukas operated from the African campaign to Russia until the end of the war.

This detailed model kit is in 1:72 scale. The display model has dimensions: Length: 15.4 cm. The high-quality kit from Italeri requires assembly by the user. The assembly process is supported by a step-by-step or illustrated instruction manual, which is included in the package. Based on the instructions, the precisely fitting individual parts must be assembled. Painting of the parts can be done according to personal preferences. Tools, glue, and paints are not included in the plastic kit and must be purchased separately.
