The model is a replica of the Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger 1 version. The Tiger I tank, produced in the second half of 1943, was based on the chassis of the first operational version used in North Africa and Russia. Initially, this tank had wheels with rubber rims, which were replaced in subsequent productions starting in February 1944. However, it was equipped with the new turret featuring enhanced protection and a better cupola for the commander. Additionally, some of these vehicles retained the distinctive Feifel dust filter system and smoke grenade launchers. Tanks produced from August 1943 onwards were also coated with a magnetic mine paste, which became standard for all Bundeswehr tanks.
