The brand new KERN OBE-12/13 series features an exclusive and dynamic design that is unmatched in robustness and ergonomics. The smart storage compartment at the back allows for quick and practical storage of your power cable. Power supply via an external power bank is also possible thanks to USB connection technology. The impressive and continuously dimmable 3-W-LED ensures brilliant illumination of your specimen. Another highlight is the integrated butterfly tube, which provides the ideal viewing angle. The height-adjustable and thus focusable 1.25 Abbe condenser with aperture diaphragm is another quality feature of the OBE series, guaranteeing optimal light bundling. The fully equipped mechanical stage allows for height adjustment via a dual coarse and fine drive. Fast operation and movement of the specimen are facilitated by the ergonomically designed coaxial drive. A wide selection of different eyepieces and objectives is also available. A dust cover, eyecups, and a multilingual operating manual are included in the delivery. A C-Mount adapter is required for connecting a camera to the trinocular version. Application areas: education, hematology, sediments, medical practices. Applications/specimens: translucent and thin, high-contrast, low-maintenance specimens (e.g., plant tissue, stained cells/parasites).
