Each player receives 9 cards, each depicting 6 Ubongo pieces. Then the game begins, and everyone tries simultaneously and as quickly as possible to match 7 of their 9 cards together, similar to dominoes. The first to do so shouts "Ubongo" and earns 10 points. However, the other players also have the chance to score points.
