Tuplast is a product designed for makeup artists to create particularly realistic scars and other skin alterations. Tuplast is based on a synthetic material that is also used in dental practices. It is applied directly from the tube and can be realistically shaped with acetone, a cosmetic spatula, or cotton swabs. It is especially suitable for small, deep cuts and stitches or burn blisters. Once fully dried, the created scar is waterproof and can be painted over as desired. To remove it, Tuplast can simply be peeled off the skin. Due to its high acetone content, extra caution should be taken when working near mucous membranes and eyes.
