Atiwa, board game, for 1-4 players, ages 12 and up

In the worker placement game Atiwa, you take on the role of fruit farmer families who engage in a symbiotic relationship with flying foxes. The animals are kept as pets to help expand the farms more quickly. Tall trees are left standing as sleeping places, and they are provided with protection instead of being hunted for their little meat.

In the game, you build a community near the Atiwa Range. Construct houses for families and share your newly acquired knowledge about the positive effects that flying foxes have on the environment. Acquire new land, take good care of your animals and resources, and lead your community to prosperity.

The player who best balances the needs of their community with those of the environment wins.
