It was primarily worn by men, which is typical for gugels in general. However, this does not mean that it cannot be used in the fantasy realm in a versatile and gender-neutral way. The Gugel - Sigurd is made from a very sturdy canvas cotton fabric with a linen look, giving it a rustic impression while also being comfortable to wear.
