The precursor to today's bras was worn both as supportive undergarments and as accentuating outerwear over, for example, a blouse. It should not be confused with the bodice or corset, which is stiff and heavily figure-shaping. The laced bodice Daphne is tailored, tapering to a point at the hips. It is laced from the bottom up. The cotton fabric is comfortable to wear. This cotton bodice is perfect for a jester or rogue. The medieval bodice Daphne is made from our very sturdy canvas cotton fabric with a linen look, which gives it a rustic impression while also being very comfortable to wear.
