The objective of the game is to sink all of the opponent's ships. After setting up the divider, each player places their ships (invisible to the other player) on any fields of their game board. Ships must not touch each other directly. When it's a player's turn, they call out a coordinate, for example, "C3". The opponent checks if one of their ships has been hit and responds with "miss" or "hit". The player who fired marks the corresponding field, for instance, "C3", on their board behind the divider with a red peg for a "hit" and a white peg for "miss". The opponent marks received hits on their ship with a red peg. As long as a player keeps hitting, they may continue to shoot immediately.
