Advent Calendar "Vienna City Hall"

The world city of Vienna on the beautiful blue Danube is a must-have in our Advent calendar collection. The historic center of Vienna is shaped by Habsburg rule and the imperial era. The magnificent architecture of Vienna's old town and Schönbrunn Palace are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Vienna is one of the top tourist destinations in Europe, and no one can resist its charm. St. Stephen's Cathedral, Schönbrunn Palace, the Hofburg, Albertina, Belvedere Palace, the Spanish Riding School, and the Ferris wheel in the Prater are some of the most visited attractions in Vienna. Renowned composers were also drawn to Vienna, with Beethoven, Haydn, and especially Mozart among those who worked here, to name just a few.

Our Advent calendar features the Vienna City Hall, built from 1872 to 1883. The Vienna City Hall is the seat of government. The traditional Christkindlmarkt Wiener Adventszauber takes place every year in the Rathausplatz and is one of many Christmas markets in Vienna. Behind the 24 windows of our Advent calendar are lovingly painted pictures with regional and Christmas motifs, waiting to bring you joy when opened.
