Like all politicians of every era, you will face the ongoing dilemma: do you pursue your own political goals or address the slowly but steadily rising tensions in society? The selection and arrangement of historical processes and events have been coordinated with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. The game is based on the online playable solo game "Friedrich Ebert – The Path to Democracy," which won the German Computer Game Award in the category "Best Serious Game" in 2024. The game includes an extensive chronicle of historical events spanning over 30 pages, an easy entry point, and important decisions.
The gameplay is quick to learn, but it can be quite tricky to make the right decisions. Which letter should be answered next? How should the influence gained from the letter be best utilized? Is fulfilling the next milestone more important than combating societal tensions? Can you risk responding to a sensitive letter right now? With various game modes, each game unfolds differently despite the same historical events!
