The invaders continue to advance. Alone, they are weak and easily frightened. But together, they are merciless, relentless, and increasingly unpredictable. All previous efforts to scare them away have been in vain. How can the spirits resist them further? They must grow, transform, and choose new paths: With the Spirit Island: Branch and Claw expansion, players can unleash wild animals, dangerous plants, and diseases upon the invaders or stir up conflicts among them. Event cards also make the behavior of the invaders harder to predict. After Brandenburg-Prussia, England, and Sweden, the French have now also discovered the island.
