The bearing flange of the pedestal is machined with such precision that a secure hold is achieved by lightly pressing in the ball bearing. The bearing pedestal is not only suitable for use as an axle and shaft support but is also very well suited for gearbox construction: By aligning them precisely according to the required axle spacing, gearboxes of various dimensions can be created. By adding holes with or without threads, the bearing pedestal can be mounted laterally or directly onto base plates.
