This freewheel has a low radial height and is doubly supported by built-in sintered bushings or needle crowns. This eliminates the need for additional bearings that are otherwise essential in freewheels. Freewheels are used as switching elements, backstops, overrunning clutches, etc. Pressing in should preferably be done with a mandrel whose collar should rest against the end face of the bearing marked with the short symbols.
