With the Edifice expansion for 7 Wonders – the Expert Game of the Year 2011 – you can participate in joint construction projects that provide special benefits upon completion. Participation is voluntary, but if a construction project fails, you will have to face the consequences. The construction projects, such as the Amphitheater, the Belvedere, and the City Archive, offer new challenges and opportunities. For each age, one of the 15 construction projects is chosen, which you can participate in when you complete a section of your wonder.

In addition to the construction projects, the expansion includes two new wonders: Ur and Carthage.

7 Wonders – Edifice is the perfect introductory expansion, as it adds exciting new elements to the base game while changing the rules only slightly. A base game of 7 Wonders (old or new design) is required to play.
