The popular Aqua Color paints are now available in all 88 shades. Model builders no longer have to compromise and can rely on this acrylic paint system for all their color needs.

The advantages of this paint system: Revell Aqua Color paints come in innovative 18 ml containers that are easy to work with. The paints can be diluted with water, are low-odor, non-flammable, and contain virtually no organic solvents. There are 88 different colors that can be mixed with each other. After 2 to 3 hours, the paint is completely dry, and overpainting can be done after just one hour, which means it dries six times faster than enamel paints. The new colors can be easily overpainted with the existing enamel colors (14 ml) after drying, but they cannot be mixed together.

The paint is also suitable for airbrushing. It is important to note that the paint should not be diluted too much, a maximum of 20 to 25% with water. Ideally, the paint should be diluted with Aqua Color Mix, as it also acts as a drying retarder and prevents the paint from drying too quickly in the spray gun. The spray gun should be cleaned immediately with water after use. If the paint has already started to dry, the spray gun can also be cleaned with Airbrush Clean or Aqua Color Clean.

For brush application: The paints are brushable and feature high opacity. They leave smooth surfaces after brushing, almost as good as airbrushing. The end result is absolutely comparable to enamel paints and offers exceptional results when brushed.
