The popular Aqua Color paints are now available in all 88 shades. Model builders no longer have to make compromises and can rely on this acrylic paint system for all their color needs. The advantages of this paint system: Revell Aqua Color paints come in completely new 18 ml containers that are ideal for use. The paints can be thinned with water, are low-odor, non-flammable, and contain virtually no organic solvents. There are 88 different colors that can be mixed with each other. The paint dries completely in 2 to 3 hours. Repainting is possible after just one hour, which is six times faster than with enamel paints. The new colors can be easily painted over existing enamel colors (14 ml) after the drying time has been observed, but they cannot be mixed together.

The paint is also suitable for airbrushing. It is important to note that the paint should not be thinned too much, with a maximum of 20 to 25% water. It is optimal to thin the paint with Aqua Color Mix, which also acts as a drying retardant and prevents the paint from drying too quickly in the spray gun. The spray gun should be cleaned immediately with water after use. If the paint has already dried, the spray gun can also be cleaned with Airbrush Clean or Aqua Color Clean. For brush application: The paints are easy to apply and feature high opacity. Smooth surfaces after brushing – almost as good as airbrushing. The end result is absolutely comparable to enamel paints, delivering exceptional results when brushed.
