The Schlingmann HLF 20/16 is a modern German special firefighting vehicle manufactured by Schlingmann GmbH Co and KG, based in Dissen. The vehicle is built on the chassis of the Mercedes-Benz Atego 1529 truck and is typically powered by a 279-horsepower engine. However, the truck's chassis has been reinforced to ensure it can handle the tasks for which it is intended. On this chassis, Schlingmann has constructed a specially enlarged passenger cabin in the HLF 20/16 model, which accommodates up to 9 people, including the driver, and behind the cabin is a body made of high-quality steel and aluminum that allows for the transport of specialized firefighting equipment. The truck is also capable of operating fire pumps with a capacity of 2,000 liters of water per minute. It features a built-in water tank as well. It is worth noting that Schlingmann HLF 20/16 vehicles are primarily used by German fire departments.
