Further information: If the vacuum pumps are operated in a location where the air is not free of dust, such as in a workshop where workpieces are also being ground simultaneously, we recommend equipping the vacuum pumps with a particle filter. Otherwise, there is a risk that dust or fine chips will accumulate between the membranes in the vacuum pump, significantly reducing the suction power. In such cases, the pump must be sent to the manufacturer for repair. Often, new membranes will need to be installed.
