Starting with Francois-Andre Danican Philidor and ending with Mikhail Botvinnik, these significant games played by the greatest players of their time are part of the treasure of chess history. They are also a part of chess culture that every aspiring chess player or simply a lover of the game should be familiar with. As the author explains in the introductory video, knowledge of classical games from the past enriches overall chess understanding and helps improve one's own games.
