The Schleich figures are all meticulously crafted, lovingly hand-painted, and represent educationally valuable play. Lipizzaner foals are born with dark coats, which only turn white after six to ten years. However, some Lipizzaners may retain their brown coats. At the Spanish Riding School, there are always a few brown Lipizzaners, as they are considered to be lucky charms.
