The foundation of any monk costume is, of course, the robe: this one is long and sand-colored, reaching approximately to the ankle. The robe, like the sleeves, is very wide-cut, making it perfect for concealing a larger physique underneath. The simplest form of a belt is a thick white cord that is simply wrapped around the waist and tied. A wide hood with a practical hook closure sits on the monk's head.
