The playing balls are ground to an accuracy of 1/10 mm and impress with their precise roll. This set includes all 16 necessary billiard balls numbered 1-15: 7 striped, 8 solid, and the white ball. Ball size recommendation: For tables 7 ft and larger (playing area approx. 198x99 cm), we recommend balls with a diameter of 57.2 mm. This size is the standard size set by the BCA. For 6-7 ft tables, it is a matter of preference whether to use ø 57.2 mm or ø 54 mm balls. We recommend trying both. For tables that are 6 ft (playing area approx. 178x89 cm) or smaller, we always recommend 54 mm billiard balls. 38 mm balls are suitable for table toppers and very small tables (toys).

The Sportime billiard balls are best suited for hobby use on tables with uncoated billiard cloths. For example, with anti-stain cloths, we recommend high-end balls from Stradivari Gold Cup or Aramith. These high-end balls generate less heat, are gentler on more delicate cloths, and reduce white burn spots. Generally, white burn spots caused by the heat of the balls can occur on all cloths with all balls. This can only be reduced with higher-quality balls. If you only play occasionally as a hobby on mid-range tables, these Sportime balls are completely sufficient.
