The key to this game is good communication and a large vocabulary. Alias is a game where you explain the passwords on the available cards by using words with similar meanings, giving hints, or gesturing: you can do anything that comes to mind! The most important thing is that the other players have the chance to guess the password you’ve drawn.

The entire game takes place on a board where you move game pieces. If the person presenting the password is successful and the password is guessed correctly, both the person presenting the password and the person guessing it move their game pieces forward.
