Engraving to emphasize details such as panel lines or to add individual features is a popular advanced modeling technique. Tamiya makes this technique easy with its range of engraving blades. These fine engraving blades are made from tungsten carbide and provide a smooth, even finish. They are available in four different thicknesses to meet your modeling needs.

  • Total length: 25 mm
  • Shaft diameter: 2 mm
  • Recommended for use with the special holder item 74139 engraving blade holder
  • Also compatible with Fine Pin Vise D (item 74050) and D-R (item 74112)
  • Simply hold at an angle of 45 to 60 degrees and lightly drag across the surface to score. Repeat as needed for a well-defined result
  • Each blade comes in a case that can hold up to 10 blades
  • A color-coded marking on the shaft allows for easy identification of the blade thickness.
