Great fun for little Pontypandy fans. Fireman Sam is now getting support from Firewoman Penny. Together, they help the residents of Pontypandy in five exciting stories out of trouble:

1. Football vs. Science: The birthdays of twins Sarah and James have different themes: football and science. The competition for the more fun party ends with Fireman Sam having to join the celebration in an official capacity.

2. SOS on Pontypandy Island: Trevor takes the Pontypandy Scouts on a trip to the island off the coast of Pontypandy. When the boat drifts away, the Scouts try to send the SOS distress signal using smoke signals. In the process, Norman accidentally starts a bushfire, making the rescue of the Scouts even more urgent.

3. Balancing in the Treehouse: The Pontypandy Scouts head to the mountains to earn their handyman badge by building a treehouse. Norman's haste and carelessness lead to a big balancing act for everyone involved.

4. Trapped in the Gorge: Elvis is on the verge of losing his job due to a misunderstanding. But first, the Pontypandy fire brigade must head to the mountains. Moose has fallen into a gorge while searching for fossils with the children.

5. Ant Alert: The children of Pontypandy are in the woods with Dilys and Trevor for a picnic. Before eating, they want to play a round of hide and seek. Norman thinks he is the best hider, but he hasn't counted on the itching forest ants, leading to a near disaster.
