The locomotive features a digital decoder along with extensive sound and light functions. It is equipped with controlled high-efficiency propulsion, centrally mounted with a flywheel. All four axles are powered by cardan shafts and traction tires. The triple headlights and dual red marker lights change with the direction of travel, functioning in conventional operation and being controllable digitally. The headlights at both ends of the locomotive can be turned off separately in digital operation. When the headlights are off at both ends, the "double 'A' light" function activates at both ends. The cabs are illuminated, with separate control available at both ends in digital operation. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are utilized for the lighting. The locomotive includes many separately applied details, with metal side handrails on the frame and detailed buffer beams. Brake hoses are included for mounting on the end of the locomotive, along with end covers that can be attached to the buffer beam. The length over the buffers is 20 cm (7-7/8").
