Rhythm is the cornerstone of making music. Without rhythmic interplay, neither classical music ensembles nor big bands, youth orchestras, rock bands, musical groups of any kind, or even symphony orchestras would be conceivable. Any form of early musical education and the learning of a musical instrument would also be hard to imagine without rhythmic exercises.
