Skip-Bo is a classic card game that was published in 1967 by Minnie 'Skip' Bowman. The original game consists of 162 cards, including 12 colored card sets numbered 1 to 12 and 18 Skip-Bo cards that can act as wild cards, substituting for any value. Our game includes only 63 cards. The objective is to create discard piles with ascending values, starting with the card value of 1. At the beginning, each of the 2 to a maximum of 6 players receives a certain number of cards to form their player stack. The remaining cards form the draw pile, from which the player whose turn it is draws 5 cards into their hand. Each player plays with their 5 hand cards and their player stack and can discard as many cards as possible onto the central discard piles during their turn. If a player can discard all their hand cards in a round, they draw 5 new cards from the draw pile and continue playing. A turn ends when a player can no longer or chooses not to discard any cards. After that, they place one of their hand cards face up on one of their maximum 4 auxiliary piles. The winner is the player who first plays out their player stack, regardless of whether they still have hand cards or cards on an auxiliary pile.
