Simon Zimpfer studied German-Chinese packaging technology and packaging design, but after his studies, he decided to pursue his true passion – game development. Since 2016, he has been a Game Designer at Paperdice Solutions GmbH and has developed several escape rooms that are located in numerous major cities across Germany. Sebastian Frenzel is a trained Game Designer and designs escape rooms nationwide, including as the head of the Game Design Team at Paperdice Solutions GmbH. The players' fascination with solving puzzles motivated him to transfer his knowledge from digital game development and his passion for board games to the medium of books. Kristina Gehrmann, born in 1989, works as a freelance illustrator in Hamburg, focusing on book illustration with adventure and historical themes. She also writes and illustrates her own graphic novels, such as "Im Eisland" (awarded the German Youth Literature Prize in 2016), "Der Dschungel," and "Bloody Mary.".
