The 3M Tegaderm is a sterile, transparent film dressing made of thin polyurethane film with hypoallergenic adhesive. This ensures unrestricted visibility of the skin and wound beneath the dressing. It is long-wearing and easy to apply and remove thanks to its practical frame.

As it is impermeable to water vapor, water, bacteria, and viruses, it serves various applications:

• Protection for clean, closed wounds
• Secondary dressing to protect against water and dirt

Caution: Do not apply the dressing directly to wounds and do not use it extensively on critically colonized or infected wounds.
