AQUACEL Foam offers you all the unique benefits of ConvaTec wound dressing technology — simplicity, comfort, and the healing properties of the Hydrofiber wound contact layer.

AQUACEL Foam dressings provide you with:

  • A waterproof protective film that allows excess moisture to evaporate while protecting against viral/bacterial penetration, enabling the patient to shower and bathe.
  • A soft, absorbent foam pad to enhance comfort and absorb excess fluid.
  • A gentle silicone adhesive that provides secure, skin-friendly adhesion as well as easy removal, with a low potential for skin irritation or allergic contact sensitization.

The Hydrofiber wound contact layer in AQUACEL Foam:

  • Reduces pain when wearing the dressing.
  • Facilitates atraumatic dressing changes through gel formation of the wound pad.
  • Prevents damage to sensitive granulation tissue during dressing changes.
  • Results in low cell adhesion upon removal in both dry and moist environments.
