DracoFoam Infect Adhesive
Polyhexanide-containing foam wound dressing with adhesive edge

DracoFoam Infekt haft is a polyhexanide-containing foam wound dressing for silver-free infection control of chronic wounds and acute wounds with intact periwound skin. The self-adhesive adhesive edge ensures that the foam wound dressing is held securely in place and is ideal for combating wound infections thanks to its powerful exudate absorption and evaporation rate. The wound antiseptic polyhexanide (PHMB) in the polyurethane foam is effective against germs. PHMB shows no resorption, no development of resistance and stands for particularly good tissue compatibility, which makes DracoFoam Infekt haft a particularly patient-friendly wound dressing. DracoFoam Infekt haft can be used for critically colonised or infected wounds as well as for moderately to heavily exuding wounds in the exudation and granulation phase. DracoFoam Infekt haft also optimally treats superficial chronic wounds such as arterial and venous leg ulcers, decubitus ulcers with intact surrounding skin, diabetic foot ulcers, burns up to the 2nd degree, post-operative wounds, abrasions, split skin removal and skin donor sites. The wound dressing is suitable for compression therapy.
