Cosmopor Advance is equipped with the innovative DryBarrier technology, which allows wound exudate to be absorbed into the wound pad but not released back - even under pressure. This combination of high absorption capacity and minimal re-wetting enables the post-operative dressing to remain on the wound for a longer period. Advance is a sterile self-adhesive wound dressing made from soft carrier fleece, featuring a highly absorbent wound pad.

Self-adhesive wound dressing made from soft carrier fleece and a central wound pad with DryBarrier technology, where the wound contact layer made of a fine-mesh polyethylene net prevents sticking to the wound. A transfer layer directs the exudate into the absorption layer, where it is permanently stored to avoid re-wetting. Very good absorption capacity and highly storage-capable, with an additional cushioning effect, skin-friendly due to hypoallergenic synthetic adhesive.
