Mepitel One is a gentle, single-sided wound contact layer with Safetac – the original contact layer with silicone adhesion that minimizes pain during dressing changes. It gently adheres to the skin without sticking to the moist wound, allowing for easy removal of the dressing without damaging the skin. This makes dressing changes less painful for your patients. Safetac also protects new tissue and intact skin – keeping the wound undisturbed and supporting the natural healing process. The wound edges are sealed to protect the skin from harmful leakage and maceration. Thanks to the perforated design of Mepitel One, wound exudate drains into a secondary absorbent dressing, facilitating topical treatments. Secondary dressings can be changed without disrupting the healing process. Mepitel One is adhesive on one side, making application easier. Its transparency allows you to assess the wound without having to remove the contact layer. The open structure of Mepitel One enables the application of topical ointments to the wound when clinically indicated.

Mepitel One is suitable for a wide range of exuding wounds, including skin tears, abrasions, second-degree burns, traumatic wounds, blisters, lacerations and cuts, superficial and deep skin graft wounds, as well as leg and foot ulcers. It can also be used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds and fragile skin.
