Why coconut oil? Coconut oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, thus protecting teeth and gums. This is due to the highly concentrated lauric acid, which makes up about 50% of coconut oil. Additionally, we use calcium carbonate as an abrasive cleaning agent in all our toothpastes. Calcium carbonate provides additional remineralization and protects your teeth from acid attacks. Xylitol complements the active ingredient complex by disrupting the reproduction of cavity-causing bacteria and reducing their numbers.
